Baked Sweet Potato chips

I love sweet potato, so this recipe was an easy one. This recipe is much healthier than take out deep fried hot chips and i love the taste that sweet potato adds compared to regular spuds.

Crispy sweet potato chips feature regularly on my dinner table as a side to lamb chops or my favourite slow cooked pork ribs.

They’re great on their own as well but be mindful of your portion size and remember to eat until your satisfied. Any left-overs can be chopped into cubes and added to salads.

Frozen chocolate “Choc-Top” banana on a stick

These frozen bananas make for a cooling treat in the hot summer and are a great fun snack to make.

Not only are they fun but they are also really easy to make. Just freeze and dip in melted chocolate then eat straight away or return to the freezer until your ready to eat them.

1 ProPoint Ice cream

Ok, so it’s not actually ice-cream its yogurt but when it tastes this good you won’t care. It’s so tasty it should be sinful....except for the fact that it’s diet friendly.
If you don’t have frozen berries you can just pop your fresh fruit in the freezer with your yogurt.

Chicken Nuggets

These tasty chicken nuggets are pan fried instead of deep fried and make a great healthy alternative to McDonald’s nuggets! Great as a healthy treat for the kids and parties.
There not just for kids but also adult entertaining, try adding fresh herbs such as chopped flat leaf parsley or paprika for a spicy kick!
Serve with sauce as a finger food, or with a side salad for a meal.

Mountain Bread "tortilla" chips

I decided to make my own chips for dips and snacks but instead of using tortilla's I tried mountain bread! They came out very light and crispy; I was very impressed. The only flavouring I used was salt but you could use pepper, chilli flakes, lime, garlic, cumin, vinegar or dried herbs. Be careful though, as they can burn easy if you leave them in the oven to long.
